Providing Consumer Bankruptcy Relief in Trying Times

Dealing with overwhelming credit card debt, medical bills, automobile repossessions, personal loans, and mortgage debt can put an immense strain on your personal relationships. Having the right help, however, can eliminate the worry and strain caused by debt and put you on the right track to a better financial future.

At the Law Office of Ann M. Gaegler, my clients receive personalized debt relief assistance with a one-on-one approach. Each client's situation is unique but most people find themselves overwhelmed by finances because of the loss of a job, illness, family responsibilities, and divorce. I make myself readily accessible to every client in an effort to keep them informed and up to speed on the progress of their case.

My practice is dedicated to resolving all debt issues for my clients through the bankruptcy process. Bankruptcy is a legal method of resolving debt issues and get you heading in the right direction. I will work with you to determine whether a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13 bankruptcy is best for your situation. I understand that each client is unique and I tailor my approach to meet your individual objectives.

Contact my office via e-mail or by calling 301-699-0031 to schedule a complimentary 30 minute consultation regarding your debt relief options.

Effective Debt Relief

Through my work with both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, I have assisted countless clients with the overwhelming burden of debt.

Chapter 7 -- A Chapter 7 filing allows individuals to discharge many of their debts and get a fresh start on their financial future. Filing a Chapter 7 does not automatically meant that you will lose your home or your car, in many cases my clients are able to retain possession of their house and car.

Chapter 13 -- In some cases a Chapter 7 may not be the best option or an individual may not qualify for a straight liquidation solution. In such cases a Chapter 13 restructure of debt may be the best solution. A Chapter 13 plan allows individuals to pay their debts according to a court determined plan. The plan typically spans 3-5 years and is geared toward individuals who own a home and are behind of the mortgage payments or who do not qualify for a Chapter 7 because their income is too high or they have filed a Chapter 7 within the last eight years.

In addition to bankruptcy cases, my office also offers representation in the following areas:
